Owner & Oral and Maxillofacial SurgeonDr. In Hee Joshua Song is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon and owner of Renew Oral & Implant Surgery in Placerville, CA. Born in South Korea and raised in Guatemala, Dr. Song’s multicultural background and experiences as an interpreter for medical missionaries inspired a lifelong commitment to compassionate healthcare. He earned both his undergraduate degrees in Biology and Economics and his DMD at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by his MD at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where he also completed a general surgery internship and oral and maxillofacial surgery residency. Dr. Song provides a full range of surgical and implant solutions, including wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, soft tissue and bone augmentation, preprosthetic surgery, pathology, jaw surgery, TMJ treatment, and more. He is passionate about building trusting, life-changing relationships by truly listening to each patient’s unique story and needs, ensuring care is efficient, comfortable, and tailored for every individual. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and active member of multiple professional organizations, Dr. Song delivers leading-edge surgical expertise with integrity, empathy, and an unwavering focus on patient well-being. Outside the office, Dr. Song enjoys family life with his wife and two children, gardening, food and wine, and golf, finding deep gratitude in being part of the Sacramento community.
